Farms eye record-level incomes

No federal support, no problem. As government programs aimed at lessening the blows from a trade war with China and a global pandemic begin to unwind, many farms are coming out the other side with a little more breathing room.

The bottom line: 2021 forecast net farm income excluding federal support is $86 billion, the highest level seen since 2013.
