Hussain Jiwani

Research analyst

As senior merchandising manager and head of the central research and trading group within CHS global grain marketing, Jiwani Hussain was responsible for sourcing and indexing all data traders use to inform decision-making. He and his team developed analytics and forecasting models to improve profitability and manage risk across several fronts.

Prior to joining CHS, Jiwani spent 11 years as a senior quantitative research analyst with Waterstone Capital Management, Plymouth, Minn. He also held quantitative research analyst positions with DRW Trading Group and JPMorgan Chase, Chicago, Ill. Jiwani earned master’s degrees in computer science and a second master’s in financial markets and trading. He has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago.
